IMPORTANT: MACHINE SPINDLE MUST BE STOPPED DURING DRILLING OPERATION.

MORE THAN ONE R&L OFF CENTER DRILLING ATTACHMENT MAY BE USED FOR DRILLING AND REAMING, OR FOR 2 OR MORE HOLES IN DIFFERENT LOCATIONS.

FOR ACCURATE LOCATIONS OF HOLES WE RECOMMEND, WHEN POSSIBLE, A DRILL JIG MOUNTED IN THE CROSS SLIDE CIRCULAR FORM TOOL POST WHICH CAN LOCATE AGAINST THE O.D. OF THE PIECE BEING DRILLED AND WITH PROPERLY LOCATED DRILL BUSHINGS.

THIS DRILL JIG IS ADVANCED AGAINST THE PART FROM THE CROSS SLIDE AND KEPT IN POSITION DURING THE DRILLING OPERATIONS.

END MILLING CAN ALSO BE PERFORMED, PREFERABLY WITH A DRILL JIB TO PREVENT WALKING.

HOLLOW MILLING OF AN ECCENTRIC HUB CAN ALSO BE PERFORMED WITHIN THE LIMITS OF THE ATTACHMENT, HOWEVER, IF TOLERANCES OR FINISH ARE IMPORTANT IT IS NECESSARY TO USE A ROUGH AND FINISH HOLLOW MILL.
